Sherwood
Sherwood is considered a bedroom community to the Fox Cities. It is a beautiful village situated on the north end of the state’s largest inland lake, Lake Winnebago. The lake’s beauty, coupled with the cliff face of the Niagara Escarpment, attract those seeking a peaceful get away. The popular High Cliff State Park, many miles of hiking trails and two golf courses make the village a popular place for recreational enthusiasts. The area is rapidly growing and attracts mostly white-collar professionals from the more urbanized area to the northwest.
